THE DANGER RUN
OFFICIAL RESULTS
The object of the Danger Run is to complete the route you were given, matching the official distance as closely as possible. In consideration of slight deviations you may incur (by stopping at DQ, Speedway, etc) we do allow for small variances in your final odometer reading. From among the qualifying entries, we apply each tiebreaker (1 through 3) until a single winner is determined.
In all, 61 carloads (254 total contestants) qualified under the mileage this year. One group also nailed all 3 tiebreakers exactly, and one other got 2 of the 3 correct. The winners are posted below, here are the official distances and tiebreakers for each of the 12 routes:
